As the whiskey moves in and out of the wood, with each cycle the product picks up more color, aroma and taste.  Over time the clear liquid is transformed into a glorious amber elixir, Woodford Reserve.

At Labrot & Graham we pay no attention to the calendar when it comes to determining when each barrel is ready to be bottled. That is left up to the palate of Lincoln Henderson, right, our Master Distiller, and Dave Scheurich, left, our Plant Manager. Between the two of them, they have over 60 years of Bourbon distillery experience. Only when they say the barrel is ready does the product inside get bottled.

While pictures on a web site are a great way to be introduced to Labrot & Graham, nothing beats visiting us in person. If your travel plans bring you to central Kentucky we would like to extend an invitation to you to drop by our little operation along the banks of Glenn's Creek and we'll show you first hand how we make the finest Bourbon in the world.

From I-64 take the Frankfort/Versailles exit. Turn south towards Versailles. Travel for 2.6 miles to Rt. 3360 (Grassy Springs Road). Turn right and follow this road until it ends. Turn right onto McCracken Pike to the Labrot & Graham Visitors Center.

From Lexington, Kentucky: Follow U.S. 60 (Versailles Rd.) from Lexington towards Frankfort. Shortly after passing the intersection of U.S. 60 and state road 1685, turn left onto Rd. 3360 (Grassy Springs Rd.). Follow this road until it ends. Turn right onto McCracken Pike to the Labrot & Graham Visitors Center.
